Steven Kauftheil, DDS
Dr. Steven Kauftheil is a caring and devoted prosthodontist, highly experienced in both general dentistries as well as in other specialty techniques such as restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. Many patients decide to choose a prosthodontist as a general dentist because of their rigorous education in both general dentistries as well as additional specialized training in the replacement and reconstruction of teeth. Along with providing quality treatments, Dr. Kauftheil believes in giving each patient a level of personal commitment that makes them feel both comfortable and informed about their options.
After earning his Bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University in 1995, Dr. Kauftheil received his doctorate from the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook in 2000 and obtained his training in prosthetic dentistry at UCLA. He has since taken many continuing education courses, including those in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign®, and smile makeovers.
He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American College of Prosthodontics.
Erin Hong, DDS
Dr. Erin Hong is a third-generation dentist from the San Francisco Bay Area in California. She graduated with honors from the University of San Diego with a degree in Biochemistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCLA. Dr. Hong completed her General Practice Residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and continued on to serve as Chief Resident for a second year. In her free time, Dr. Hong enjoys working out, visiting museums, and reading. She resides in Long Island City with her husband and two rescue cats, Lance and Jelly.
Kyle Jonna, DDS
Dr. Kyle Jonna brings to our practice a commitment and passion for providing patient-centered care in all aspects of dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan dual majoring in Biomolecular Science and Economics. After undergraduate school, Dr. Jonna attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Jonna did a general practice residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, where he excelled in oral surgery and implant dentistry.
Dr. Jonna is from Bloomfield Hills Michigan and now resides in New York as his permanent residence. Dr. Jonna is a member of many organizations, including The American Dental Association, The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and The Academy of General Dentistry. During his free time, he enjoys playing golf and tennis, spending time in nature and gardening, and cooking.
Dr. Jonna’s commitment to education and providing the highest level of care is an ongoing passion. Dr. Jonna prides himself on staying up to date with the latest procedures and technologies, and one day hopes to teach and give back to the research and the educational community he loves so much. Currently, Dr. Jonna is training at NYU in advanced implant dentistry to bring comfortable, predictable, and esthetic implant dentistry to his patients.
Raymond Duong, DDS
Dr. Raymond Duong is a native of Brooklyn and was raised in Bay Ridge, New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at Baruch College in Finance and Investments. After a life-changing dental procedure in his early 20’s and realizing his true calling was not in the corporate world, he decided to change his career path to pursue dentistry.
Dr. Ray graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. During his last two years of dental school, his passion for helping others led him to complete his degree with honors focusing on community service and medically complex care. His exposure solidified his passion for pediatrics and helping those with special needs. Following dental school, he completed an intensive specialty-training program in pediatric dentistry at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn. During residency, he obtained invaluable clinical experience in sedation dentistry and provided comprehensive dental care to underserved areas in Brooklyn.
Dr. Ray learned first-hand the importance of establishing early dental care, prevention, and positive dental experiences during childhood. He recognizes that every child is unique and strives to provide compassionate dental care that is tailored to a child’s personal needs. Dr. Ray is known for his energetic and relatable personality. His unique education and experience enable him to provide outstanding care for infants, children, and adolescents in a family-friendly environment. Dr. Ray is a strong believer in evidence-based dentistry and keeps up to date with the latest scientific literature. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
In his free time, Dr. Ray loves to spend quality time with his partner, family, and friends. He enjoys his life in New York City and hobbies include fitness, singing along to Broadway hits, and going on food adventures.
Sidak Singh, DDS
Originally from Maryland, Dr. Singh earned her Bachelor of Arts at The George Washington University and her Master’s of Science at NYU. Dr. Singh completed her Doctoral degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC. She moved to NY to complete her General Practice Residency at Interfaith Medical Center. Dr. Singh is passionate about alleviating dental fears and providing the highest level of care. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Singh enjoys reading, exploring the vast NYC food scene, traveling and playing tennis.
