A native New Yorker, Dr. Avner is a cosmetic and implant dentist whose practice is here on Madison Avenue. His clinical interests include implant surgery, digital dentistry, Invisalign and emergency pain management.
He completed a seven-year B.S./D.D.S. joint degree program through Adelphi University, followed by a residency at St. Barnabas Hospital. He holds fellowships with the ICOI and AAIP.
Have questions about a procedure? Bring them. The practice’s approach is to explain care in plain language, with attention to patients who feel anxious about visiting the dentist.

Are you open on weekends?
We are open Sundays from 10 AM to 5 PM. The office is closed Saturdays. Monday and Thursday hours extend to 8 PM.
Can I call about a dental emergency?
Yes. Call the office about same-day emergency care and current availability. The practice does not advertise 24-hour opening.
How do I check my insurance?
Call the office before your appointment to confirm your plan and discuss coverage. Benefits and out-of-pocket costs depend on your individual policy and treatment.
