Does Guardian cover gum disease treatment?
Treatment for gum disease, such as scaling and root planing, is covered by many dental plans, often as basic care with frequency limits. Ask Guardian how your plan covers it before treatment.
What if Dentist on Madison is out of network for my Guardian plan?
Some plans, especially PPO plans, still pay part of the cost when you see a dentist outside their network, usually at a lower level, and you pay the difference. Other plans pay only for in-network care. Guardian can tell you how your plan handles it.
