Delta Dental Dentist in Midtown Manhattan
Dentist on Madison accepts Delta Dental insurance, including Delta Dental PPO plans, at our office on Madison Avenue at East 40th Street in Midtown Manhattan. Patients of all ages with Delta Dental coverage are welcome.
Delta Dental is on the list of insurance carriers we accept. Delta Dental offers many different plans through employers and individual policies, and two people with Delta Dental cards can have different networks and benefits. Checking your own plan is the first step.
Treatments our Delta Dental patients often ask about
- checkups and cleanings, usually the best-covered part of a dental plan
- tooth-colored fillings for cavities
- root canal treatment to save an infected tooth
- dental crowns and dental bridges
- teeth whitening, a cosmetic treatment that many plans don't cover
Coverage for major treatment such as crowns, bridges or dental implants varies widely between plans and may come with waiting periods or an annual maximum.
What to ask Delta Dental before your visit
Call the member services number on your Delta Dental card, or sign in to your member account, and ask:
- whether Dentist on Madison is in your plan's network
- what percentage your plan pays for preventive, basic and major care
- how much of your deductible and annual maximum is left
- whether the treatment you need has a waiting period or a frequency limit
Then call our office with your plan name and the treatment you're considering, and ask about our fees before you decide. Check Your Insurance on our website shows whether your insurance company is on our list. It doesn't verify your benefits or guarantee payment; those decisions belong to Delta Dental.
Common questions about Delta Dental
Is Delta Dental PPO the same as other Delta Dental plans?
No. Delta Dental offers several kinds of plans, and the network and benefits on your card depend on the plan your employer or you chose. That's why it's worth asking Delta Dental about your plan, not just the company.
What if Dentist on Madison is out of network for my Delta Dental plan?
Some plans, especially PPO plans, still pay part of the cost when you see a dentist outside their network, usually at a lower level, and you pay the difference. Other plans pay only for in-network care. Delta Dental can tell you how your plan handles it.
Request an appointment
Request an appointment online and our front desk will call you back to confirm a time, or call (646) 540-9095. Tell us you have Delta Dental. Please don't send member ID numbers or a photo of your card through forms, chat or email.
If part of your treatment isn't covered, ask about payment options and financing.
