Implant Dentistry in Midtown Manhattan
Ways to replace missing teeth with implants, from a single tooth to a full arch, planned after an examination.

Implant dentistry replaces missing teeth with small titanium posts placed in the jawbone. The posts then hold a crown, a bridge or a full arch of teeth. Dr. Avner C. Mullokandov is a general dentist whose focus includes implant dentistry. He is a Fellow Implantologist of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (AAIP).
The three treatments in this group differ mainly in how many teeth they replace:
- Dental implants replace one tooth or a few teeth. Each implant can carry its own crown, and two or more implants can support a bridge.
- All-on-4 and All-on-6 replace a whole arch of teeth with a fixed bridge held by four or six implants. They are an option for people who have lost most of their teeth or who want to stop wearing a removable denture.
- Full mouth reconstruction is a broader plan for many teeth at once. It can combine implants with crowns, bridges, veneers or other treatment, depending on what each tooth needs.
Which option fits you depends on how many teeth are missing, the health of your gums and how much bone is available. That is decided at a consultation with an examination and X-rays. Dr. Avner explains the choices, the steps and the expected timeline before treatment begins. Results vary from person to person.
