SMS Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 2, 2026

These SMS Terms and Conditions are published by ACM Dental Care, P.C., doing business as Dentist on Madison, a dental office at 274 Madison Ave, Rm 202, New York, NY 10016. They describe the text messages the practice may send and the choices you have. Reading them does not sign you up for texts or change any preference.

Types of messages

The practice may send two kinds of text messages, each only to people who agreed to that kind:

How you agree

You agree by selecting a checkbox in the online appointment request, the Second Opinion request or the Check Your Insurance form. Each kind of message has its own checkbox, both are unchecked when the form opens, and you can send your request without selecting either one. Consent to texts is never a condition of receiving dental care or buying any service. Entering your phone number in a form, the chat or a voice session, or asking for a call or email reply, does not sign you up. The Opt-in page shows the exact wording of both checkboxes.

Sender

Texts come from the practice's registered text-messaging number. The practice's text messaging is still being set up. The sending number will be added to these terms before texts begin, and the date at the top of this page will change when it is.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies. Request and appointment messages depend on what you have asked for and when your visits are. Marketing messages depend on the offers the practice runs. Message and data rates may apply; check your mobile plan for the charges that apply to you. Delivery depends on your carrier, network and device, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Stopping messages and getting help

Reply STOP to any text from the practice to stop receiving its texts. Reply HELP for information on how to reach the office. You can also call or email the office using the details below. The office phone number is for calls, and sending a keyword to it does not change a preference. The Opt-out page explains more.

Text messages are not suitable for emergencies. For a medical emergency, call 911.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how the practice handles information from the website. Your mobile number and your consent to receive texts are not shared with other companies for their own marketing. Service providers that deliver the practice's messages process your number and the messages only to provide that service.

Changes to these terms

The practice will update these terms when its text messages change, including when the sending number is added. The Terms and Conditions, Cookie Policy and Accessibility Statement cover the rest of the website.
